Ideal candidates are already teaching or researching about some aspect of American Studies in their Chinese academic setting. Fulbright candidates often apply from disciplines in the Social Sciences and Humanities and each field of study must have an extensive American Studies component. The grantees return to China and incorporate what they have learned in America into their Chinese classrooms. 蘙^V峺r繈顣f[€y橆v:Nf[/g gN;e剉-N齎f[€衏汷(W齎'Yf[蜰婲靣藌貧B\!k剉齎xvz筫b梽vx頞:gO0 gsO剉3u鲖篘擽鍕/f汵(W-N齎'Yf[虘蜰婲N齎xvzNN鴙sQ剉Yef[bxvz錧\O剉f[/g篘XT0諲霳@b蜰婲剉Yef[孴xvz錧\O^\嶯>yO褃f[孴篘噀褃f[啒遅 FO擽鍕S+T g'Y蠎剉齎xvzNN匭筟0蘙^V峺r繈顣f[€轛齎T擽鍕\vQ(W齎@b梍剉6e穬袕(u0R-N齎剉XYef[KN-N0 T h e F u l b r i g h t V R S p r o g r a m p r o v i d e s t h e o p p o r t u n i t y f o r t h e g r a n t e e s t o t r a v e l t o t he U.S. not only for the purpose of academic research, but also to learn more about the country, its people and its culture through direct interaction with Americans in order to better teach about the U.S. upon their return to China.
